Abstract
Quranic scholars believe that the stories of the Qur'an have messages for Muslims, even those stories of the people and religions and prophets in the past. Often the method of Quran in narration the stories is presenting the outlines and the main lines and not addressing the details. So the method may raise some questions for some people. In the first sight the appearance of some of Stories of the Prophets in Quran seems incompatible with their innocence and some religious principles and inter-religious rules. So the doubts emerged must be answered. About the story of Solomon some doubts have been raised and this paper attempts to answer the doubts about the story of Prophet Solomon (pbuh) and Hoopoe. Doubts such as foreknowledge of Solomon and absence of Hoopoe in the troops and the promises of torment and slaughter of the Hoopoe by Solomon. In this article the commentators’ views on the subject has been surveyed.
