Abstract
One of the issues that recently has been considered by the scholars of the Qur'anic sciences is the interpretation methodology of the Holy Qur'an. As it leads to the correct interpretation of the Holy Qur'an, the various aspects of interpretation methodology is important. It also provides a ground for classification of interpretations based on their methodologies, and clarifies the requirements for the methodology of interpretations. One of the most remarkable interpretations in the eighth century is the interpretation of Kashf al-Tanzil fi Tahghigh al-Mabahāhith and al-Ta'awil, known as "Haddad Yemeni’s interpretation". Using descriptive-analytical method, as well as collecting materials with library method, it has been attempted in this research to examine the interpretative approaches and tendencies of this interpreter. Therefore, in studying this interpretation, and considering that the interpreter's method is to use the narrative, rational and ijtihadi methods along with the lexical, theological and jurisprudential tendencies in the interpretation, it was concluded that his interpretation method is a relatively comprehensive interpretation of the Holy Qur'an.
