Abstract

One of the Quranic theological propositions is that "God has speach". Both Quran and the traditions of the Prophet and his Household have treated this subject. The subject of this proposition is God and its predicate is God's speaking. We face serious problems in interpreting this predicate that denote God's speaking and also in understanding the quality of God's speech and the circumstances under which one can attribute speech to Him. Since religious linguistic philosophy discusses this kind of issues, this article intends to study, analyze and make clear the abovementioned proposition according to the religious linguistic philosophy and to extract and present a Quranic and reasonable way for solving the mentioned problem on the bases of Quranic verses. The most important finding of this article is that God's speech can be explained by Quranic approach.
