Abstract

The Preserved Tablet, which is referred to in the verses of the Qur'an as the Book of Mubin, the Book of Hafiz, the Book of Marqum, the Book of Maknun, and the Imam of Mubin, is one of the basic expressions of the Holy Qur'an, and as it is used only once in the Qur'an, it has caused controversy among Quranic scholars about its nature and characteristics. In this article, the nature and characteristics of the Preserved Tablet have been studied from the point of view of two great commentators of the Holy Quran, Allameh Tabarsi and Allameh Tabatabai. Regarding the nature of the Preserved Tablet, Allameh Tabatabai, who considers the Preserved Tablet to be one of the levels of the Qur'an, seems to be preferred. However, the other statements made in this field are also sufficiently convincing. Among the features of the Preserved Tablet, its comprehensiveness can be considered as superior to other features because it covers other features in it. The articles has been written and compiled in an analytical and descriptive method.
